Blog #1

Hey there! My name is Taylor Therrien, and I am a freshmen attending Nichols College. As of right now, my major is Sport Management looking into a minor of marketing. I commute to school every day from Coventry, Rhode Island, roughly a 40 minute drive. But for me that's not big deal because I love to drive ... I drive for a hobby actually.
I race two different race cars at Thompson Speedway and Seekonk Speedway. This is what takes up most of my time, year round. From April up until October, you'll usually find me racing all weekend every weekend. From October until race season comes back up in April, me and my team keep busy fixing the cars, trying to make them faster, or even building new race cars for someone else on my crew who wants to race. It's an expensive, time consuming and extremely dedicating sport, but it's simply what I love to do.
My dad also owns a ski shop in RI, so since I was a little girl I was a snow bunny. I love to ski, and I love the snow.
I also grew up playing softball. Overall - I would say I'm a pretty active girl.

Of course digital applications is a mandatory class to take, but I am looking forward to taking it. My boyfriend, Eric, works at Best Buy and he has already taught me so much that I actually consider begin on a computer fun and entertaining. I am looking to further my knowledge and really understand everything that is possible to do on the computer that will benefit what I would like to do in the future. Everything will eventually be computerized - it's only a matter of time. With that in mind, I want to stay on my technological game to make sure I don't fall behind.

One blog that interests me is Jenna Marbles. This girl is hilarious, painfully truthful and overall an over night sensation. I've subscribed to her videos and blog. She blogs about life, and anything and everything that she feels like. This is what people want to hear, and clearly whatever she does works. She has millions of followers and viewers and the list keeps going on.

Well, I guess that's it for the first assignment. Enjoy reading.
